Our ukulele class is specially designed for young learners, offering a fun and engaging introduction to the skills required to play both the guitar and ukulele. Through enjoyable games and activities, children will build finger strength, improve coordination, and learn the basics of strumming and finger-picking in a supportive environment.

Taught in small groups of up to five, this class provides a manageable and comfortable introduction to string instruments, ideal for smaller hands. The ukulele is an excellent starting point, as it develops the same foundational skills as the guitar but is easier for young beginners to handle.

Each student will have access to a ukulele during the lesson, and we recommend having an instrument at home for practice between classes to reinforce learning.

Our curriculum incorporates Kodály methods and interactive games to support early musicianship, ensuring a well-rounded and enjoyable learning experience. This approach helps young students develop a strong musical foundation through engaging and age-appropriate activities.

This introductory class sets the stage for future musical endeavors, allowing students to progress to our guitar classes, intermediate ukulele groups, or individual lessons. Children will learn a mix of chords and TAB notation, preparing them for more advanced musical studies.

Our music school operates during school terms from Monday to Saturday. Classes and lessons continue as scheduled on bank holidays and in-service days. For specific term dates, please refer to our website.

🔄 Automatic Enrolment 🔄

Your child will be automatically enrolled in the next block of classes, ensuring their space is reserved without the need for rebooking. Their spot is guaranteed until you inform us that they no longer wish to continue.

💳 Payment Policy 💳

• Fees must be paid through Class for a Kids invoices.
• All fees are due before the first class of the block.
• Consistent late payments may incur a late fee.

💸 Refund Policy 💸

• Refunds will be issued only if a class is cancelled by us.
• In the event of a pupil’s absence, full payment is still required as the class will proceed as scheduled.
